CNIB is hitting the road to bring our innovative programs to life in your community! Meet the CNIB Mobile Hub – a new program delivery model where we visit your community to deliver in-person programming at no cost to you.

We’d love for you to join us when we visit Ajax, Ontario on Monday, June 9 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Ajax Community Centre (75 Centennial Rd, Ajax). 

Drop in to meet CNIB staff and learn more about free programs and resources for people who are blind, Deafblind, or have low vision. Enjoy a day of recreational and social activities, technology workshops, and much more. Experience the latest breakthroughs in assistive tech from CNIB SmartLife and connect with other members of the sight loss community. Our free programs are designed to educate, entertain, and engage community members who are blind, as well as their families, friends, and caregivers. 

While registering for the Mobile Hub is strongly encouraged, walk-ins are also welcome. To register, please complete the CNIB Auto Registration Form or call 1-800-563-2642.

CNIB Mobile Hub – Ajax itinerary

CNIB program leads will be on-site to discuss and provide information about free programs available through CNIB, including technology programs and peer and social recreation, vision mates, CNIB Deafblind Community Services, along with other resources for people living with blindness or any degree of vison loss.

We’ll also offer hands-on demonstrations of accessible tech products and select on-site purchases receive free shipping for orders made during the event. Please note: If time does not permit certain topics or questions to be discussed during the event, our team’s contact information will be provided, and they would be happy to discuss it one on one at a later date over the phone or by email.
